Some years ago I was having lunch with a good friend of mine and we were sharing what the LORD was doing in each of our lives and ministry.  He begin to share about this prophetic encounter that he was having during his ministry times.  My friend is a prophet and prophetic encounters were a big part of the way the LORD used him.  He shared how he would see an eagle in the services and then the LORD would tell him to ride the eagle and in the vision he would get on the eagle and be carried along.

During the meeting the LORD release increased measures of revelation and insights and many others were having prophetic encounters in the service as a result of what the LORD was doing.  I remember driving how after that lunch thinking man that cool. I wonder what prophetic encounter the LORD would release into the sessions I was ministering in.

Then the LORD begin to minister to me about my upbringing.  I was raised in a very prophetic home.  Almost everyone was hearing GOD but me.  I didn’t start to really hear the LORD until I was a young adult and had left home.  Even through I had started doing ministry when I was 12 and preached my first sermon at 15 …. I was filled with the HOLY SPIRIT at about 10 even felt and enjoyed the LORD Presence but I didn’t know the LORD’s voice.  I am sure HE was talking to me but I didn’t really … this is further complicated when you have a family that is having dreams, visions and encounters with the LORD.  When you go to a church when many people are prophesying and sharing how the LORD is speaking to them prophetically.   To make a long story short I didn’t

Then I had a vision of me climbing mountain side.  As I looked up I could see an eagle’s nest.  There was such an excitement within me to see the eagle eggs or the eaglets that were going to be in the nest.  When I got to the top I pulled myself up and looked into the nest.  As I said I was expecting to see a bunch of eagle eggs or hatched eggs with little eaglets but what I saw were egg shells with little lion cubs with small eagle wings.  I was shocked at what I was seeing.  Then I heard the SPIRIT of the LORD speak to me.  He said you are a lion that was raised by eagles.  You were raised in the heights and much of your young adult life you had to get use to the land because you were raised by eagles.  Then HE said to me that HE was about to raise up a generation that was unlike any generation before.  HE said that they would have the ability to soar in the heights and run on the land.  They would be an apostolic-prophetic company.  They would be both from the heights and be introduced to the terrain.

Over the years I have … as an equipper… coach… my primary role has been to lead ministry schools and mission bases to equip people to do their calling and launch them out.  the other aspect of my has been to start revival movements …. as a revivalist…. this

The School of the Prophets equipping style was one in which a senior prophetic person or minister would mentor others to less experienced ministers looking to start their ministry… It was a time of mentorship, training and launching… they didn’t just focus on the knowledge or the skill but the character and created opportunities for those in the relationship to exercise their gifts and abilities….

WHAT IS MENTORSHIP?

We live in a time where it is so important for individuals to get guidance from someone who is more experienced in their sphere of influence. This person will not only have more experience, but they will also have more influence and expertise. The type of interaction that forms goes beyond just the transfer of knowledge or information, but a true relationship is created. This type of relationship is known as mentorship.

Mentorship: Mentorship is a type of relationship where a more experienced individual (mentor), is guiding a person with less experience (mentee) in a specific area. The mentor shares their personal insight, knowledge, and expertise to grow and develop their mentee. They teach them new skill-sets and provide guidance in various aspects of their mentees life. In many mentorships, the mentor is grooming their mentees to become successors or protégé’s in their particular sphere of influence and the relationship is typically an ongoing one.

The format for each of the mentorship sections moves from the essentials of that specific ministry grace to the full manifestation of it in a person life… it focuses on the outcomes the ministry manifests in the world to move the Kingdom of GOD forward and how it equips the church to be what the LORD has called it to be

The Anointing and the Office of the Prophet:  Understanding leadership and the equipping process… creating the culture and working with the others in the Body of CHRIST to accomplish

Foundation (the essentials of this ministry grace and how it effects all believers) : In this phase we begin the process of getting prepared to do the work of ministry. This is discipleship as it pertains to each person’s member-ministry. A person may have been in Christ for many years and still have the need to get a firm foundation for serving in a particular area. We believe each Believer needs to be equipped foundational in all five of the ministry areas. The truths and functions of each of the five ministry areas are important to the spiritual life of each Believer.

Gift (Discovery of your specific ministry grace and the special way it operates in your life): In this phase you begin to discover the member-ministry that GOD has given you by being aware of your natural tendencies to manifest that grace in times of ministry. It is the time we begin to look at where a person can begin to function in the Body of CHRIST specifically. This phase of discovering the special grace that is in your life is a phase that you may go through many times as the LORD reveals some new gifting or ministry HE is moving you into.

Ministry (Serving others with your gift): In this phase you are using your member-ministry gift to serve others in a very specific way. You are doing the work of the ministry .

There are three different levels of Ministry that can be released through the life of the Believer.

1. Personal Ministry: This is the ministry that is done through the life of the Believer in the context of their day to day living.
   

2. Member-ministry Ministry: This is the ministry that is done through the life of the Believer as a result of their connection and calling within a body of
   Believers. This sometimes is done outside of the local church. It is still lead by a qualified leader.
   

3. Leadership Ministry: This is the ministry that is done through the life of a Believer that has been given leadership responsibilities within the context of
   church government and the Church community.
   

Equip (Serving others by equipping others): In this place a person is using their ministry to equip others in the Body of CHRIST to do the work of the ministry.  This is role allows the individual to provide the essential coverage, senior leadership and mature manifestations of their particular ministry grace that will help the Body of CHRIST grow and mature into the fullness of the intention of the LORD’s heart.
